Happy Sunday, everyone. You can’t tell just by reading this but I rolled my eyes incredibly dramatically as I typed that first sentence. Sundays are high up on the list of Worst Days of the Week (oh – keep your eyes peeled for that review!). The good news is that this particular Sunday means a return to non-Steven Universe reviews, which most of the people who have ever had any interesting in reading this blog will probably appreciate. In classic 365 Days of Reviews fashion, I’m too lazy to review anything real today, so instead I’ll review the worst people present at the bar during my date last night. That’s right – Stevie went on a date (though several people in my life disapprove of that idea for one reason or another).
Well, all good things must come to an end. The good news is that most bad things come to an end as well. For every first date, there must come a last date. It’s true, just in some cases that last date is a divorce proceeding or something more final (that sentiment is a little darker than I intended). Sometimes you are luckier than that, and it becomes clear early on that things aren’t going to work out. In fact, plenty of first dates are last dates. But when that isn’t the case, there may be some damage control to take care of.
Ahh summer. As the air gets too hot to do much of anything and the sun burns your skin for stepping out of the shade, what better way to celebrate the changing of the seasons than with romance? A date was had this evening. By me. But this review isn’t about that particular date – that wouldn’t be fair.
